Faith and Worship: A Website

One evening I was looking at other websites on prayer and I happened to come upon one with dozens and dozens of prayers that we are welcome to use for our own use or with a prayer group.

This British site is called Faith and Worship, and it is the work of a prolific Methodist minister who is generous with the ways we may use his work.

There is so much there that I’m at a loss as to where to point to. If you go to the homepage that I just linked to, you’ll see Celtic prayers, blessings, and history… free online Bible study… praying to God for guidance, prayers for the elderly and the lonely… and prayers for the start of the week. That’s just on one section of the page. There are links to much more including covid-19 prayers.

Here’s an image link to that homepage. Take a look!

There’s a lot more, but since he gives permission to use his prayers, here is one on Divine love that I was drawn to:

Your love
flows like a stream
into the ocean of your Grace.

Your love
encircles this world,
displays your faithfulness.

Your love
is patient and kind,
brings wholeness and true peace.

Your love
is all we desire
to heal our brokenness.

As all things pass
and fade away
love remains
